• Developing Hand-Eye Coordination: Preschoolers and K-5 will learn to track the ball with their eyes and coordinate their movements to successfully hit the ball, enhancing their coordination skills.
• Improving Gross Motor Skills: Through various activities, Preschoolers and K-5 will practice jumping, running, and throwing, contributing to the development of their overall gross motor skills.
• Building Teamwork and Social Skills: Participants will learn to collaborate and communicate effectively with their peers, fostering teamwork and enhancing their social interactions during games.
• Promoting Physical Activity: Our program encourages Preschoolers and K-5 to engage in physical activity, which is vital for their overall health, development, and well-being.
• Introducing Basic Rules and Concepts of the Game: Preschoolers and K-5 will be introduced to the fundamentals of volleyball, including serving, passing, and scoring, laying the groundwork for future play.
Classes will be held weekly at your school, each session lasting 45 minutes. All necessary equipment will be provided onsite. The registration fee includes enrollment in the class, an OALS T-shirt, knee pads, OALS Treasure Chest with weekly prizes to celebrate progress and effort, and an end-of-season OALS Awards Ceremony.
